Pondicherry, India
GRATITUDE HERITAGE
GALLERY
ABOUT THE PROPERTY
GRATITUDE is a Category II heritage building and although we do not have the exact age, going by events which occurred during the last few centuries, we can presume that it could be approximately 200 years old. It has gone through several owners and has probably been witness to the lives of many different generations of residents. Pondicherry is a little seaside town on the south-eastern coastline of India, 160km south of Chennai, which used to be a French enclave and even today retains much of this Franco-tamil spirit. We have two unique properties which we would like to call a Guest House or a Retreat. They are not hotels. One of them is Gratitude (this one), a restored homestay and the other is Kariappa House.
