Guleria Kothi Promo
Two nights in an 18th-century riverfront house — the Ganga is the only road to the door. From ₹16,999 pp 3 Days/2 Nights
Everyone sees Banaras from the water once — the aarti, the dawn boats, the ghats going gold. Stay at Guleria Kothi and you see it that way every day, because the river is the only way in. Two nights in a restored 18th-century sandstone house on Guleria Ghat, with the boat transfers, the evening aarti at Dashashwamedh and breakfast above the water all arranged before you land. You just turn up; the boat does the rest.

Guleria Kothi
Guleria Kothi is a magnificently restored 18th-century house on Guleria Ghat, in the old Chowk quarter — Chunar sandstone, antique detail, local art, and no road access at all. The way in is by boat, then a short climb from the riverbank. Fifteen rooms in a single Deluxe class, some facing the Ganga, some the restored courtyard; downstairs, Gangā Teere serves Banarasi food and Café Guleria holds the deck above the water.
Your arrival taxi, the boat across, the luggage up the steps — met and managed. The evening Ganga aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, by boat, every night of your stay. And one concierge on WhatsApp from first message to check-out — tell us if a river-facing room matters and we'll ask the house (rooms are allocated on arrival, so it's a request, not a promise).
