Kahani Paradise
Two nights in an eight-room house above a beach with no road to it.
There is no road to Paradise Beach. You walk down to it through twenty acres of hillside garden that grew coconut, rice and betel nut for generations, and which the locals called the paradise behind paradise.
Eight rooms sit in that valley, every one different, all of them looking at the Arabian Sea. The Telegraph put the house on its Top 50 Hotels in the World list for 2024, which is a strange thing to happen to somewhere you cannot drive to.
Eight rooms and suites across the estate, each one its own shape. The Queen Suite runs to 940 square feet up its own private road through the gardens, with a bath cut from a single piece of marble. The King Suite keeps a long balcony over the pool and out to the sea.
The main villa holds the family's antiques, a rare Naga table among them. Outside there is a free-form infinity pool clad in emerald lava stone, and the gardens go on for twenty acres.

Walk down to Paradise Beach. There is no road to it. The trek goes through the estate, or take the Belekan village walk instead.

Getting there, and the small print
Good to know
Dabolim in Goa is the airport, about three hours by road each way. There is no road to the house itself, so the last stretch is on foot. We arrange the car at cost and quote it with your booking rather than burying it in the price.
The walk to Paradise Beach is downhill on the way there. Choose either the beach trek or the Belekan village walk.
