SUJÁN The Serai
Two nights in a Luxury Tent with breakfast from the camp's own farm and the conservation contribution, all taxes in.
SUJÁN The Serai is twenty-one tents on a hundred acres of desert scrub, forty minutes out of Jaisalmer. Each tent is hand-stitched canvas on a base of local stone, with a veranda outside and a lounge inside. The camp has run since 2009. The Manganiyar bards who play here first performed for the Singh family in the 1960s.
Our price carries the tent, breakfast cooked from the camp's own farm and dairy, the Wi-Fi and laundry, and the conservation contribution the camp takes at booking. One figure, taxes in. The desert sundowner and the Jaisalmer fort visit are booked through the camp, and we add them to your quote.

Luxury Tent
Fourteen tents on bases of local Jaisalmer stone, each with a veranda and inner tented lounge. Breakfast, WiFi and laundry included; lunch and dinner are extra or packaged. The member package is based on this tent.
Luxury Tented Suite
Six suites adding a private heated plunge pool. Breakfast included; other meals extra or packaged.
Royal Tented Suite
A large private encampment with heated outdoor plunge pool, massage area, pergola dining tents and a private butler. Breakfast included; other meals extra.
Luxury Tent is the room in the price above; the others show what they add. Per person, two sharing, for the complete 2-night experience — the whole itinerary above included, taxes in. This rate holds until 31 Mar 2027.
Not in the price: Lunch and dinner. The camp's pre-set three-course meals are a per-person supplement, which we add to your quote; The Great Thar Sundowner by jeep and camel, the Jaisalmer fort jaunt, spa treatments and anything from the boutique; Getting to the camp. Jaisalmer is forty kilometres away, with daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur in high season; Jodhpur is about 260 km by road and we can put a car on it; Travel insurance, which SUJÁN makes compulsory for every guest; Anything personal: drinks, tips, telephone.

Getting there, and the small print
Good to know
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by noon, with no late check-out.
The camp opens for the season on 1 October and closes at the end of March, so this trip runs between those dates. Over Christmas and New Year, 21 December to 4 January, the camp asks for a two-night minimum, which this trip meets, and prices those dates at its festive rate.
Two children under eight may share a tent with their parents at no charge; a child of eight to twelve takes an extra bed at the camp's supplement, which we add to your quote. Two adults to a tent.
The Luxury Tented Suites add a private heated plunge pool and the Royal Tented Suite has its own encampment with a butler; both are on the price list above.
