Svasara stands three hundred metres from Kolara, the Tadoba gate nearest Nagpur. The wake-up call comes before sunrise because the gate opens with it.
Our price carries the drive as well as the bed. An exclusive jeep into the Kolara core, with the permit, park entry, guide and the run to the gate inside the figure, and one of the lodge's own naturalists in the vehicle. Booked direct, the naturalist is an extra you are asked about at the desk and the permit is yours to chase.

Good to know
Core zones close on Tuesdays and buffer zones on Wednesdays, so a three night stay is planned around whichever falls inside it.
The forest department has banned phones and tablets inside the reserve since December 2018, and that applies to guides and drivers as well as guests. Camera fees stopped being charged separately in July 2025 and now sit inside the permit.
Check-in is 2pm and check-out 11.30am. Nagpur is 100km, about two hours by road. Warora station is 51km and Chandrapur 90km.
