WelcomHeritage Mount Valley sits five kilometres from the park gates, about ten minutes in a jeep, where the Aravalli range meets the Vindhyan plateau. It is built haveli style with jharokha windows, and it is the largest place we hold at Ranthambhore: forty-seven rooms, a pool, a lawn and a 90-seat restaurant that copes with a pre-dawn breakfast.
Our price carries a private jeep into the reserve for the two of you, with the permit and the forest guide inside the figure, plus breakfast and dinner each day. One figure, taxes in.

The park, the gates and the fees
Ranthambhore National Park is in Rajasthan. Gates, opening season and zone allocation are on the Ranthambhore page, and the permit, jeep and guide fees every Rajasthan visitor pays are set out in what a safari costs. Our price already carries the drive.
Good to know
The reserve allots the safari zone. You may ask for one on the booking portal and the park management can change it on the day, so nobody can promise you a zone.
Safaris are booked on your photo ID and paid in full to hold the vehicle, and once booked the forest department does not refund or move them. The jeep takes up to six, so a family or two couples pay the same for the drive as two people do.
Ranthambhore Fort and its Ganesha temple are an eight-kilometre outing for an afternoon without a drive.
The advance safari calendar runs from October to June, and so does this trip.
