This is the Goa outpost of Ahmedabad's original art café, born in 2015 in a pre-independence art deco bungalow. The villa works as one big, liveable gallery: striped ceilings with hidden glow lighting, scalloped headboards in marigold bird prints and indigo block prints, carved almirahs, and doors that open onto treetop balconies or straight to the pool terrace. The hotel says outright that if something catches your eye you can own it, art, glassware, even the furniture. Add an events calendar of pop-ups, bar takeovers and musical evenings, and you get village Goa with a pulse.
