Bagh Villas is a small camp on the edge of Kanha, styled on the Jodhpuri shikar tents of the old hunting camps and crossed with an African safari camp. Quarters come two ways, tented suites and lakeside cottages, each with a bamboo shower and a verandah deck facing the water.
The lake is rain-harvested and the kitchen runs off the camp's own garden, cows, hens and bees. Every meal is in this price, at the camp's own rate, and the safari is quoted alongside it rather than marked up inside it.

The safari is not in this price. The camp runs its own jeeps with its own naturalists and we add one to your quote at what they charge: ₹17,000 on a weekday and ₹18,000 at the weekend for Indian nationals, all taxes in, up to six in the vehicle.
Kanha closes its afternoon safari every Wednesday.
