Arrive Delhi
Your driver meets you at Delhi airport and takes you to the hotel. Nothing is planned for the rest of the day. The first afternoon is for sleeping off the flight.
Two nights and a full day with a guide: Old Delhi by cycle rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, then the Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb in the new city.

A full day with a guide, split between the two Delhis.
The morning is the old city: Raj Ghat, the Red Fort from the outside, then a cycle rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, which is the only sensible way through those lanes.
The afternoon crosses to the new city for the Qutub Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan from the gates, Humayun's Tomb and the Lotus Temple.
Delhi to Agra
The drive to Agra takes about three and a half hours on the Yamuna Expressway, four with Delhi traffic at the wrong end.
Agra Fort in the afternoon: Akbar's red sandstone fort, large enough to be a city in its own right.
The evening is yours.

A full day in the city with a guide.
You pass the Hawa Mahal, the honeycomb facade built so that the women of the palace could watch the street without being seen. The afternoon is the City Palace and its museum, then Jantar Mantar next door, an observatory built of giant stone instruments rather than lenses.
In the evening, the light and sound show at Amer Fort.
Home from Jaipur
Breakfast, then the road back to Delhi. Allow most of the day for it. Tell us your flight time and the driver will work backwards from it.

It does not include international flights: this is a land-only price, so you book your own flights to India and we handle everything from the airport onwards. How many days do you need for Delhi, Agra and Jaipur?
This one runs 5 nights, which is 6 days counting the day you travel home, split between Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. You can add or drop nights in any city and the price recalculates before you commit to anything.
When is the best time to do this trip?
October to March. We do not currently price August, April, May, June and July, which is the hot and wet part of the year on this route.
