The House of MG is a heritage boutique hotel in Ahmedabad, set in a restored twentieth century mansion in what is India's first UNESCO World Heritage City.
The house has grown into more than its rooms. It runs Agashiye on the roof alongside the Green House and Nanu at Pol Kholi, so the eating is as much a reason to come as the sleeping, and the group also operates Mangaldas ni Haveli next door.
Around that sit the things that get guests out into the old city: heritage walks, a rickshaw tour, curated experiences and a textile gallery in the Trunk shop. There is also a lotus pool, the Chakra spa and a gym for the hours between.
