The Jaisalmer Resort sits in a quiet hotel precinct of the Golden City, a short walk from Jaisalmer Fort and the marketplace. Rooms come in three sizes from 25 to 30 sq m with city or resort views; there is a swimming pool with lifeguard cover, a restaurant serving breakfast through dinner, and lawns used for weddings and events. Desert camping in the Thar is arranged through its sister Sia Resort & Camp.
Jaisalmer
The living fort in the morning: palace, Jain temples, the lanes within the walls. Patwon ki Haveli after lunch, then out to the dunes for sunset if you wish; the car is yours.

A slow morning under the walls, then the car takes you to Jaisalmer airport. No backtracking.
