Arrive Udaipur
Your driver meets you at Udaipur airport and takes you to Amet Haveli on the edge of Lake Pichola. The afternoon is yours: the City Palace across the water, a boat on the lake before sunset, dinner at the haveli looking at the Lake Palace lit up.

A haveli on the banks of Lake Pichola, built in the reign of Maharana Jagat Singh II between 1734 and 1752, with 22 lake facing rooms across heritage suites and deluxe rooms. The Ambrai restaurant on the water is part of the house.
Udaipur to Jawai
Breakfast on the lake, then about three hours north on good road into the granite country of Jawai. The camp is not reachable by ordinary taxi: your driver brings you to the drop-off point and a camp jeep takes you in. Settle into your tent, and the first wilderness drive is that evening.
Three hours north into the granite; two nights, four drives. The camp asks for two nights minimum, three over the festive weeks.
Tonight you sleep at SUJÁN JAWAI, in a Tented Rock Suite.
Ten tented suites among billion-year-old granite, where leopards live openly alongside Rabari herdsmen. Twice-daily drives, Marwari horses, and candlelit brass baths under the stars.
Jawai
A drive at dawn and another at dusk with the camp's own trackers, looking for leopards on the rocks and the Rabari herdsmen who share the land with them. Between the two, the tent, the deck and every meal laid where the camp decides.
Jawai to Udaipur airport
One last dawn drive if your flight allows, then the car takes you back to Udaipur airport, about three hours, for your flight home.

Is this a private tour or a group tour?
Private. The car, the driver and the guides are yours alone, and the trip runs on your dates rather than a fixed departure. You are never put onto a coach with strangers.

Yes. Every stop offers more than one hotel, and each alternative shows exactly what it adds to or takes off the price before you choose. Every one of them is a place we have picked ourselves rather than a category off a supplier's list.
