The family dates the building to some 300 years ago; after a three-year restoration it opened in February 2021, with interiors by designer Adil Ahmad and three dining venues including a rooftop restaurant facing the fort.

New Built in the 18th century as a royal hunting lodge and owned by Maharaj Jai Singh of Jaipur, this small haveli on Queen’s Road has been restored into a boutique hotel of four suites, overseen personally by Angelique and Pradip Singh. It is still the Royal Family's primary residence, and their photographs, polo trophies, heirlooms and a 1950s Ford Thunderbird are on show through the house.
